Now that I review this introduction I see that it is much too long. I find myself wondering if I should leave more to the imagination, realizing that I should leave more to the imagination. But, instead of playing it safe, I’m going to leave this long list in its naturally-occurring state.

  1. “waking the baby slowly”: easing a little person back into the world over and over until they can handle waking up without trepidation (a feeling of fear or agitation about something that may happen. (oxford dictionary). some people were not wakened slowly and may now wake with a jolt. help is on the way. you can wake with a jolt, learn to instantly calm yourself, breathing and daydreaming of the swayings of pine treetops in a breeze–or some such.
